Recovery and Rehababilitation: An Old or

Presented by the MIRECC of the VA Desert-Pacific Healthcare Network,
Department of Veterans Affairs Employee Education System, and the UCSD Department
of Psychiatry in cooperation with the Chesapeake Health Education Program, Inc.
and the VA Maryland Health Care System .
Objectives
At the conclusion of the program, participants will:
- be able to identify key elements of VA's transition from maintenance-oriented mental health services to those that embrace recovery-oriented psychosocial rehabilitation;
- be able to identify specific approaches that can further transition VA services towards improving quality of life for veterans with psychosis.
